The Upton Original Wood Company is conveniently located in rural Central England, on the Ridgeway, and just south of the market town of  Didcot.  Visitors are welcome. Please call or visit us at:

From the North - From Oxford proceed south to the exit at the Milton/Didcot junction and head for Wantage   After 2 miles turn left at the Rowstock roundabout (Nissan garage to your  left) heading towards Blewbury and Reading.  After passing Harwell village and crossing back over the A34, you will pass the George and Dragon pub on your right hand side as you enter Upton ( 2.75 miles from the roundabout ).  100 yards further on from the pub you will see a sign for Alden Farm and The Upton Original Wood Company (also on the right hand side).  Follow this metalled road for about 1 mile and we will be found amongst the Farm Buildings.

From the South and West  - From J13 on the M4, proceed North to the Chilton exit (about 15 minutes).  Follow the signs to Upton and Blewbury.  On entering Upton look for the George and Dragon Pub and follow the instructions above.

From the East and Reading - follow the A417 from Goring-on-Thames through Blewbury.  Upton is the next village after Blewbury.  The entrance to Alden Farm will be found on your left as you go round a bend in the road.  You have passed this turning by 100 yards if you come to the George and Dragon pub on your left.

Weekdays 8am - 5pm, Saturday 9am - 12.30pm.

Please note that we are closed on Sundays, Bank holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year unless by prior arrangement.
